Mira Zwillinger, Make A Wish

New York Bridal Fashion Week

New York Bridal Fashion Week was in full swing when the Mother-Daughter Mira Zwillinger dream team from Tel Aviv, debuted their 2020 Couture Collection. Named ‘Make a Wish’, the runway lived up to its name with 29 romantic, stunningly intricate looks. From whisper-thin, ethereal full-length gowns to more avant-garde, edgy alternatives – every design incorporated Lihi and Mira’s eye for detail and innovative use of 3D printing technology – which allows them to hand-draw beautiful embellishments directly onto the Belgium tulle, silk organza, lace and other delicate materials seen throughout the collection.

“In a world where nearly everything seems to exist, we are pushed to reach higher limits. For 2020, our dream was to pull from innovations outside of the fashion world to breath new life into couture. Make a wish collection should evoke the feeling of hope and ignite passion in a world filled with innovative vision and unlimited beauty. Every exceptional masterpiece begins with a single idea, and while the universe is filled with infinite possibilities, our minds can unlock them with the power of a wish”

Here is some exclusive backstage images of the preparations, the pre-show anticipation and the dazzling show itself.
